This year we went to the lake to enjoy the 4th with my friend Reba.  She had a fantastic party with lots of food, family, and fun.  Eddie had 2 firsts last night!  He went swimming in the lake for the first time (man it was choppy!!!)  and also got to use sparklers! 

This is the one time he had absolutely no problem holding on to my hand! 

Yes, I had a matching shirt too, but this was after getting out of the lake.

He also got to do sparklers for the first time. 

We had a GREAT time watching the fireworks across the lake and from their neighbors. 

This was at about 10pm.  Both of them were WIDE AWAKE!!  Kate fell asleep on the way home, but Eddie waited until getting home.
